How do I import custom models?

You can import any standard .vrm or .glb file. Go to Settings > Model and click the Import button.

Does it drain my battery?

Desktop Waifu is optimized for efficiency. It uses an "Idle Mode" to reduce resource usage when you are not interacting with it.

At Desktop Waifu, we take your privacy seriously. We believe your desktop is your personal space, and everything that happens there should stay there. This Privacy Policy outlines how we handle your data.

1. Data Collection

We do NOT collect, store, share, or transmit any personal data, usage statistics, or user-identifiable information. The application functions entirely offline.

2. Local Processing

All interactions, including file imports (VRM models) and mouse tracking features, are processed locally on your device. Specifically:

• Mouse Tracking: Used solely for the purpose of character eye-tracking animations in real-time. No coordinate data is recorded or sent anywhere.
• Custom Models: Models you import are stored in your local Application Support directory and are never uploaded to any server.

3. Third-Party Services

The application does not use any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools.
